First you have to highlight the area of the page that you want to
print. Do this by placing your mouse pointer at the start of the area
to be printed, hold down the left mouse button, then drag the pointer
to the end of the area to be printed, then release the mouse button.
The area should now be shown highlighted in a different colour (usually
blue). If you make a mistake, simply left click again to de-select and start again.
The next steps depend on which browser you are using.
Click for Internet Explorer, Firefox
and Opera
Click for Chrome
Click for Safari

For Internet Explorer,
Firefox and Opera
Highlight the area to be printed as described above then select "Print"
by one of these methods:-
- In Internet Explorer and Firefox, go to your
"File" menu (press the Alt key if the menu bar is not showing) and
select the "Print" option,
or
- In Chrome click on the red "Menu" button and
select the "Print" option,
or
- Right click and select "Print" from the pop-up
menu (not available in all browsers),
or
- Click on the "Print" button in the tool bar if
it is there,
or
- Press CTRL-P
The "Print" dialogue box should now appear (example in picture below).
Look for the "Selection" option (circled in red in this picture) and,
if it is not already selected as the option to use, then left click on
it to select it. (The "Page range" options might be in a different
order for you.)
Now click on the "Print" button in the same way as you usually do.

For Chrome
Highlight the area to be printed as described above then select "Print"
by one of these methods:-
- Click on the tool icon
at the top right of the
screen and select "Print" from the menu that appears,
or
- Press CTRL-P
A new page should now appear with a print preview on the right and some
print options on the left.
Click on "Advanced" at the bottom of the left side.
The "Print" dialogue box should now appear (example in picture below).
Look for the "Selection" option (circled in red in this picture) and,
if it is not already selected as the option to use, then left click on
it to select it. (The "Page range" options might be in a different
order for you.)
Now click on the "Print" button in the same way as you usually do.

For Safari
No way has yet been found to print a selection of a page in Safari. If anyone
knows how to make it work in this browsers then please let our Webmaster know.
